We wanted to design a coat that looks as at home on a ranch as it does on a subway. We think our Walking Coat fits the bill. It is double-vented with gusseted shoulders, bellowed pockets with a zipped breast pocket, and trimmed with leather and hardwood buttons. It is fully lined with Bison Fleece. Incredibly light, but incredibly warm.
Our CANDELA WAXWEARTM COLLECTION features coats, jackets, and vests made of WAXWEARTM 5.5 oz. Nyco Taff waxed nylon/cotton fabric. Our exterior shell is light and breathable, yet tough enough to shelter you from the hardest rain. Our Bison Fleece wool blend is light but incredibly warm.
WAXWEARTM is a time-tested fabric that is both durable and strong. Its wax treatment keeps out the rain, but breathes better than oilcloth, plus doesn't have the odor or staining. Its secret finish saturates the cloth, which prohibits normal dry cleaning. Your garment will last a lifetime with simple sponging with saddle soap or rinsing in the shower, along with periodic retreatment with our refinishing ointment.
