VENTILE® COTTON If you are familiar with VENTILE® you know that it is usually featured in clothing for its ability to protect you from the harshest elements. Developed for RAF pilots survival gear in World War II, and used in many Arctic explorations and Everest ascents, most designers utilize the fabric for extreme condition gear.

While we agree that it is one of the toughest fabrics ever made, and is near impenatrable by wind or rain, its most overlooked quality is its comfort and wearability. Made out of the top two percent of all classes of cotton, Ventile is soft and supple, breathes beautifully, and has the feel of the finest double-twist island cotton.

VENTILE® is both a performance fabric and a fashion fabric, So we decided to design a sporting coat that fits a hunter's lifestyle in the field and around town. Using VENTILE® as the exterior shell fabric, we've lined the jacket with linen for its light weight and pure insulation quality. The result is a true three season jacket with clear cross-over styling.
